２回目は”骨”についてです！

A bone is a rigid organ that constitutes part of vertebrate skeleton.

Bone has many functions,
・support the body structurally
・protect organs
・produce red and white blood cells
・act as a storage of minerals, particularly calcium

Skull（頭蓋骨）
The skull is the skeleton of the head.
The main function is to provide for the brain and the sensory organs.

Humerus（上腕骨）
The humerus is a long bone in the arm that runs from the shoulder to elbow.
It connects the radius and ulna, and consists of three sections.

Ulna（尺骨）
The ulna is a long bone that stretches from the elbow to the smallest finger.
It runs parallel to the radius.

Radius（橈骨）
The radius extends from the lateral side of the elbow to the thumb side of the wrist and runs parallel to the ulna.

Scapula（肩甲骨）
The scapula is connected with the humerus.

Vertebral column（背骨）
The vertebral column is also known as the backbone or spine.
This is part of the axial skeleton.

Coxal bone（寛骨）
This bone is composed of three bones: the ilium（腸骨）, ischium（坐骨）, and the pubis（恥骨）.

Femur（大腿骨）
The femur is the proximal bone of the hindlimb in tetrapod vertebrates.

TIbia（脛骨）
The tibia connects the knee with ankle bones.

Fibula（腓骨）
The fibula is a leg bone located on the lateral side of the tibia.
